Good quality video recording

Used the 4K Video Recording feature. Video quality was excellent. Interface was straightforward. Delivered as promised.

Good for podcasts, few quirks

I signed up for an annual plan to use Riverside for a new video podcast project. The ordering process was straightforward on their website. I got an immediate confirmation email. Delivery, well, it's a software service, so access was instant. I used the 4K video recording feature and the audio clean-up tool, which both worked well for my remote interviews. I tried the AI transcription; it was mostly accurate but needed some manual corrections for technical terms. Support responded to my question about WAV audio export within a few hours. The interface is pretty intuitive, though sometimes finding specific settings takes a moment. Overall, it's a solid platform for podcasting, just be ready to fine-tune the AI features.

Solid platform, minor hiccup

I switched to Riverside for my video podcast a few months ago, primarily for the Multi-track Recording and AI Transcription. The ordering process for the annual plan was simple enough, though I found the pricing tiers a little confusing initially. Delivery, or rather activation, was instant which is great. The platform itself is generally robust; the local recording feature is a lifesaver. My last session had a slight delay in the AI Transcription being available, taking nearly an hour longer than usual, which was a minor inconvenience as I was on a tight deadline. Customer support was responsive when I inquired, explaining it was a temporary system overload. Overall, it's a powerful tool, especially the WAV Audio Export, which produces very clean sound. Just hope the transcription speed stays consistent.

Always reliable recording

I've been using Riverside for over a year now for my podcast recordings, mostly for the local recording feature. This last time, I recorded a remote interview and the 4K video recording came out just as good as my previous sessions. They've been consistently good with audio quality too. Still wish the mobile app was a bit more robust for editing on the go, but for recording, it's my go-to.

Good for remote recording, minor issues

I used Riverside.fm for a remote interview recently, specifically for the high-quality audio recording and 4K video. The local recording feature worked well, and the audio quality was definitely a step up from what I've used before. The setup was pretty straightforward for my guest too, which was a plus. My main gripe was with the Riverside Editor; it felt a bit clunky to navigate, and I ended up exporting to another program for the final edits. It's a solid platform overall, offers good value compared to piecing together different tools, but that editor could use some refinement.

Easy to use for podcasts

I tried out the Remote Recording Studio for my podcast last week and it was really smooth. Setting up the session was a breeze, and my guest didn't have any trouble joining. The audio quality was noticeably better than what I used before, which is a huge plus. Definitely made recording less stressful, felt like things just worked.

Easy to use, quick recordings

So, I needed to record some interviews for a project, and my friend told me about Riverside. I just jumped on the site, signed up for a plan, and started recording. It was really simple to get my guest on there, and the sound quality was way better than just using Zoom. Didn't have any trouble setting up the studio or anything. It did take me a second to figure out how to download the separate audio tracks, but once I found it, it was easy. Glad I tried it out.

Value for annual plan

I was looking for a good deal on recording software and saw the discount for annual plans on Riverside.fm. It was a good saving compared to paying monthly. I used it to record a few videos with their 4K video recording feature and multi-track recording. The quality was great, much better than what I was getting from free tools. I did notice that the AI Show Notes sometimes missed a few key points from our discussions, but for the price I paid, it felt like a worthwhile investment. The savings made it a clear choice.
